Buzz about India's 60th Republic Day!

Well 26th January 2009 is remembered by most Indian's as the 60th Republic day.. Its different in the fact that it was the first Republic day in which the Prime Minister was absent (Dr. Manmohan Singh due to the bypass surgery he had a couple of days ago) and that there was a Solar Eclipse.
But for me its different for another reason! There was this screening of the exclusive documentary of 'The making of lagaan' at IIM-B where Aamir Khan and his crew (Maddy, Sharman Joshi, Rajkumar Hirani) were present at the IIM audi. The entry was restricted to IIM-B students only! Fortunately I got lucky and was a part of the audience. We had an excellent Q&A session with him (btw, Aamir is a good orator and what's more is that he gave me really impressive answers to a couple of my questions). As an added bonus I gotta chit chat for few mins with Madhavan aka Maddy, Sharman Joshi and Rajkumar Hirani and the pic with Maddy! lolz!
The best part being that I actually gotta know about this event only 30minutes before the start and somehow things worked out. Now that's what you call an unexpectedly eventful holiday! :)

Hey...
well i asked him "if given a chance of remaking any of his movies again then which one wud it be n why" then "why he goes to the oscars and not indian filmfare awards", and "Considering the fact that he shoots his movies in 6months straight without any break (other actors switch between multiple movies simultaneously) how does he manage to keep his enthusiasm going, coz any other person would get bored after the initial rush of adrenaline by doing the same thing over n over again"!

well... there were only like 100people.. it was exclusively fr iim students fr an some educational purpose, so was allowed to ask all i wanted too!! ;) lolzz...
Q1 - well first he was like he wud wanna do a few of his earlier movies; but later said he wudn actually do it as his earlier movies was what has made him the actor he is today!
Q2 - then for the 2nd ques he said he's gone only once to the oscars and the main reason was to be recognized in an international platform, moreover he was like all the indian awards are corned!
Q3 - For the last ques he was like he's done that with years of practice.. moreover he said earlier he used to do 2-3movies a yr, but nw does only 1movie a yr and chooses them accordingly so as to help him mentally psyche himself to remain involved till the end of the shoot!
